Terms of Service

These terms cover your use of Worktwin. They are written to be read, not to be survived. Worktwin is early-stage software operated from Bergen, Norway by Kristoffer Berg ("we", "us"). If anything here is a problem for your organisation, write to [email protected] before you connect a tool.

1. The service

Worktwin runs agents against tools you connect. You describe a job, grant the agent a set of capabilities, and it runs on a schedule, on an event, or when you press run. Every run is recorded with what it did and what it cost.

2. Your account

You need an account, and you must give accurate details. You are responsible for what happens under your account and for the people you invite into your organisation. Accounts are for organisations and people acting for them, not for consumers.

3. Connected tools

When you connect Google Drive, Slack, GitHub or anything else, you authorise us to access that tool on your behalf, only to run the agents you configure. You confirm you are allowed to grant that access. You can disconnect any connector at any time, which stops future access immediately. Each integration has an approval mode: set it so writes need your approval when you want a person in the loop.

4. What agents do, and what they don't

Agents are software using language models. They get things wrong. Output can be incomplete, outdated or plainly incorrect, and an agent that reads a regulation, a contract or a spreadsheet is not giving you professional advice. You are responsible for reviewing anything an agent produces before you act on it, and for any writes you let it make without approval.

Do not use Worktwin as the sole control on anything where a mistake causes real harm: legal filings, medical or financial decisions, safety-critical work, or a statutory inspection someone else is required to perform.

5. Acceptable use

Don't use Worktwin to break the law, to access data you have no right to, to send unsolicited bulk mail, to build or run anything designed to harm people or systems, or to work around the rate limits, capability grants or approval gates the product enforces. Don't resell access or share credentials outside your organisation.

We can suspend an account that is doing any of that, or that is putting the service at risk. We will tell you why.

6. Money

Plans are a flat monthly fee with unlimited members — there are no per-seat charges. A plan deposits usage credits each billing period. Agent runs consume credits based on what the run actually costs to execute; you can see the cost of every run.

Payments are handled by Stripe. Plan changes take effect as described in the app: upgrades immediately with a prorated charge, downgrades at the end of the period you have paid for. Consumed credits are not refundable. Cancel whenever you like — you keep the plan until the end of the period you have paid for, and we do not claw back credits.

Prices can change. If they do, the change applies from your next billing period and you will be told before it happens.

7. Your data

Your content stays yours. We access it to run the service, as described in the Privacy Policy, which is part of these terms. We do not use your content to train models.

You can export or delete your data by asking us at [email protected].

8. Availability

There is no uptime guarantee. This is a small product run by one person, and it will sometimes be down, slow, or mid-deploy. Features can change or be removed. If we make a change that materially reduces what you are paying for, you can cancel and we will refund the unused part of the current period.

9. Ending it

You can stop using Worktwin at any time. We can end the agreement with 30 days' notice, or immediately if you break section 5 or do not pay. When it ends, your access stops and your data is deleted after a short retention window described in the Privacy Policy.

10. Liability

The service is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we exclude implied warranties, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profit, or lost or corrupted data beyond what we can restore.

Our total liability for any claim is capped at the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability for anything that cannot legally be limited, including death, personal injury, fraud, or gross negligence.

You are responsible for what your agents do inside your own connected tools with grants you gave them.

11. Changes to these terms

We can update these terms. Material changes will be announced in the app or by email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continuing to use Worktwin after that means you accept them.

12. Law

Norwegian law applies. Disputes go to the courts of Bergen, Norway. If you are a business customer outside Norway, that stays the venue unless mandatory law in your country says otherwise.
